Connect Qonto to Claude & ChatGPT via MCP
Ask Claude, ChatGPT, or Codex about your Qonto transactions: for cash-flow planning, cost control, or keeping an eye on incoming payments. belege.ai makes your account available through a secured MCP server.
Read-only account access · no payments
We have €48,200 in the business account today. Will that last until the end of the year?
belege.ai · 12 months of incoming and outgoing payments queried
Yes. On average, about €4,100 more comes in each month than goes out on running costs. On top of that, these payments are due before the end of the year:
The tightest point is the end of November at about €39,200; by the end of December you're at around €43,300. Shall I break the forecast down week by week?
What you can use the connection for
Your assistant sees every incoming and outgoing payment in your account, so it can answer questions about your whole business, not just the bookkeeping.
Plan your cash flow
Your assistant spots recurring payments in and out and projects the coming weeks. Just tell it your current balance.
“Build a 13-week cash-flow forecast from our fixed income and expenses.”
Analyze spending
Costs by merchant, category, or period – and what has changed compared with last year.
“What did we spend the most on this quarter – and what has become more expensive?”
Review subscriptions and contracts
Running subscriptions, insurance policies, and direct debits at a glance, including price increases and duplicates.
“Which subscriptions still charge our account – and what do they cost per year?”
Keep an eye on incoming payments
Check whether a customer has paid and see how your revenue develops.
“Has the €4,760 payment from Müller GmbH come in yet?”
Summarize the month
Income, expenses, and anything unusual as a short overview – for you, your co-founders, or shareholders.
“Summarize September: income, expenses, biggest items, and anything unusual.”
- With receipt search
Find missing receipts
belege.ai looks for the invoices behind your transactions in your inbox and supplier portals. Your assistant then knows which ones are still missing.
“Which transactions from September are still missing a receipt?”
Works without the receipt search
Only want to analyze your transactions? A connected bank account is all it takes. You don't need to connect a mailbox, accounting software, or Telegram, and you can add the receipt search later.

Frequently asked questions about Qonto and MCP
Can I connect Qonto?
Yes. Qonto connects through its official API, and belege.ai syncs new transactions automatically.
Can I use the MCP just for my transactions?
Yes. A connected bank account is all it takes. You don't need to connect a mailbox, accounting software, or Telegram. Your assistant then works with your transactions, for example for cash-flow planning, spending analysis, or checking incoming payments. If you add the receipt search later, belege.ai matches invoices, surfaces receipt gaps, and prepares the handoff to DATEV or your tax adviser.
Can my assistant see my account balance?
No. belege.ai imports your bank's transactions, not the balance. For a cash-flow forecast, just tell your assistant the current balance; it knows the incoming and outgoing payments from belege.ai.
Does belege.ai store my banking data?
Yes. Reusable connection details are stored encrypted by belege.ai. Approved account and transaction data are synchronized to belege.ai and stored for bank reconciliation, receipt matching, and hosted MCP access.
Does the MCP server run entirely on my Mac?
No. Bank connection and data synchronization use authenticated belege.ai services. The current MCP server is hosted by belege.ai and accesses synchronized data after authentication. We do not currently promise a local-only MCP connection.
Can the MCP client make payments?
No. The current banking workflow reads accounts and transactions. Transfers and other payment initiation are not part of the Banking MCP connection.
