Can I send a voice message?

Yes. A voice message in Telegram is enough for the trip details.

Do I need a business account to start?

No. You can start without a bank account and collect receipts via Telegram or email; open banking or a CSV import can be added whenever you like.

Do the meal receipts meet German tax requirements?

Yes, under German rules: electronic approval per the BMF letter of 19 November 2025 (section 4 (5) EStG), stored audit-proof in line with GoBD, with a DATEV export.

How does the travel expense report work?

Describe the trip in the chat or forward the bookings. The agent builds the report with the meal per-diem under section 9 EStG as a finished PDF, for past trips too.
