    Every bank transaction without a document is an open item. Receipt progress per month shows what is still missing, so the work starts from the payment, not from a pile of files.

  • The invoice is attached to that booking

    AI reads merchant, date, amount and line items from a photo, PDF or email and matches them to the bank line, even when that transaction is imported days later.

  • Daily inbox check, targeted search

    By default, AI reviews new emails with PDF attachments once a day. For a transaction still open, the agent searches specifically: in the inbox or, behind a login, in the portal.

  • Ready to hand to your accountant

    Duplicates are caught rather than booked twice, and where no original can be found the agent offers a self-receipt (Eigenbeleg), so the month is ready for your accountant.

Frequently asked questions

Does it scan my inbox?

Yes, once a day by default. AI reviews new emails with PDF attachments and imports invoices and receipts. If a transaction still lacks its receipt, the agent also searches for it specifically. Each mailbox can be limited to that targeted search. With the Mac app, Gmail can also be checked on the device (macOS 26): Apple Intelligence recognizes invoices locally, and only those are uploaded.

What if the invoice is already in Lexware or sevDesk?

Documents already stored there are imported as context. They are not counted as receipts belege.ai found.

What if one debit covers several invoices?

The agent adds them up, for example €129.99 + €8.46 = €138.45 for one Amazon charge, and matches every invoice to that transaction.

What if the transaction arrives after the receipt?

The receipt is stored right away and matched as soon as the transaction is imported, even if that is days later.

What if a PDF contains several receipts?

Multi-page PDFs with several receipts are split automatically, and each receipt is matched on its own.
