SumUpto Lexware Office
SumUp payouts for Lexware Office, reconciled automatically.
belege.ai pulls payouts, fees and card sales from the SumUp API every day, reconciles them against the credits on your bank account and attaches a reconciliation statement to every matched payout for booking in Lexware Office.
Three steps to a reconciled SumUp payout
- 1
Connect SumUp
Under Integrations → POS & cash register, choose SumUp. Sign in to SumUp once so the agent can fetch the invoices and credit notes you issue with SumUp as original PDFs, then grant read access to your card sales and payouts directly at SumUp.
- 2
Payouts arrive daily
belege.ai imports payouts with fees and every card sale, twelve months back on the first sync, and reconciles the payouts against the SumUp credits on your bank account – even when the account is only connected in Lexware Office.
- 3
Book in Lexware Office
Every matched credit comes with a reconciliation statement listing the card sales and the SumUp fee. Use it to book the credit in Lexware Office, with the fee as the difference.
What's inside a SumUp payout
SumUp pays out your card sales in batches, minus its fees. Your bank account only shows one credit from SumUp. The reconciliation statement shows which card payments it contains and how much SumUp kept.

How to book the credit in Lexware Office
- 1
Record the card sales as income
Create an income voucher with SumUp as the contact and enter the card sales from your till's daily closing by tax rate.
- 2
Assign it to the credit
Once the SumUp credit arrives in Lexware Office, assign this voucher to it. The reconciliation statement shows which sales the payout contains.
- 3
Book the fee as the difference
Lexware Office asks why the amounts differ: choose “Gebühr des Zahlungsverkehrs” (payment fee). The amount is on the reconciliation statement.
Whether the fee is booked with or without tax is best settled once with your tax advisor.
belege.ai creates the reconciliation statement from SumUp's data. It stays with the credit in belege.ai and is not transferred to Lexware Office; your customer receipts remain the source documents for the card sales.
What belege.ai takes care of
Two kinds of access, kept apart
belege.ai reads card sales and payouts through the official SumUp API, read-only and without your password. For the invoices, the agent signs in with your SumUp login details; belege.ai stores them encrypted, and with the Mac app they stay in your Mac's Keychain.
No guesswork
If a credit doesn't clearly match a payout, it stays open and visible. belege.ai tries again on every sync, even when the credit arrives later.
Every other receipt straight into Lexware Office
belege.ai reads your Lexware transactions daily and books found receipts onto the right open transaction automatically.
Questions about SumUp and Lexware Office
How do SumUp payouts get into Lexware Office?
The credit reaches Lexware Office through your bank account. belege.ai reconciles it against the SumUp payouts and, when it clearly matches, attaches a reconciliation statement with the card sales and the fee, which you use to book it in Lexware Office. belege.ai doesn't transfer the statement itself; invoices from your suppliers and subscriptions, on the other hand, land in Lexware Office automatically.
Which data and documents does belege.ai get from SumUp?
The read-only access grant brings in payouts with their fees and every card sale, twelve months back on the first sync; belege.ai builds the reconciliation statements from this data. Through your sign-in, the agent fetches the invoices and credit notes you issue with SumUp as original PDFs from the invoice report. Customer receipts and till closings are not imported.
How often does belege.ai sync SumUp?
Daily by default. In the connection you can switch to weekly, monthly or manual, and sync by hand at any time.
Can I connect several SumUp accounts?
You connect one SumUp account per company. If you run several companies in belege.ai, set up SumUp separately in each, with its own sign-in and access grant.
